Inglis House named Emerging Frontline Worker Champion by CareerSTAT

Inglis House, a specialty nursing care facility that provided long-term and residential care for hundreds of adults with physical disabilities in the greater Philadelphia area, has been recognized as a CareerSTAT Frontline Worker Champion for its innovative approach to ongoing professional development and its early leadership in frontline worker investment,

Inglis has a long-standing commitment to employee training at all levels and was the first member of the District 1199C Training & Upgrading Fund to offer $5,000 per year in tuition reimbursement to every frontline worker. The company also provides support and funding to its local industry health care partnership. Inglis’ training and skills development programs have significantly reduced turnover for first-year CNAs.  

CareerSTAT is an employer-led national collaboration of health care leaders who promote employer investment in the skill and career development of frontline health care workers. An initiative of the National Fund for Workforce Solutions and its implementation partner, Jobs for the Future.
