Director, Workforce Development Prisma Health

Ms. Richardson possesses over 35 years of experience in healthcare human resources, career development and workforce development. Val received an undergraduate degree in Business Management and a MA degree in Human Resources Development. She leads programs to optimize access to internal and external talent for Prisma Health. In addition, she identifies and manages economic mobility options via affiliations with statewide boards and educational partnerships. Currently, she serves with the following boards and councils to include the US Department of Labor Advisory Committee on Apprenticeships, Statewide Apprenticeship Employer Council, South Carolina Workforce Development Board, SC Hospital Association Workforce Advisory Council, National Association for Health Services Executives, National Healthcareer Association, Business Leaders United, and the Midlands Middle College Board of Directors.
